Level 3 Te Reo Maori
Course Description
This course continues to build upon the language skills developed at Level 2. Topics covered are, aspects of traditional Māori life, matters of social importance such as whakapapa, religion, politics and the Treaty of Waitangi. Classes will be taught mainly in Te Reo.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 12 Māori 201 - Students will have completed 4 full years of Te Reo Maori or equivalent.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Usual writing materials including a ringbinder. All students must have a Māori dictionary at home.
