Dance

Tena koutou katoa.

Massey High School offers Dance from years 9 to 13. Students study dance as an "art form" via a range of genres and styles ranging from Contemporary to Hip Hop. The curriculum focuses on three components:

  • Performance
  • Choreography and Composition
  • Perspectives

We are very fortunate to have a fully equipped dance studio complete with sprung floor offering students a creative, safe, up to date learning environment. There are endless opportunities for the dancer at Massey High within the classroom and extra-curricular including “Bring it On”, School productions, cultural dance groups, senior and junior showcases.
