Students will carry out a personal course of study that explores the use of digital photographic processes as a means of generating and developing visual ideas. The emphasis is in the use of photography as an artistic medium with reference to established artistic models. Work produced for assignments and folio may also be used for entry into visual arts / communications courses that require a portfolio of artwork.

Internally assessed assignment work. Externally assessed body of work presented on A1 folio panels.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$80 materials fee provides students with photographic materials and a $50 credit for digital printing and photocopying.
A3 Clear File
Recommended Prior Learning
24 credits in Level 2 Photography. Taking Art History is an advantage.
A student wishing to do more than one Level 3 Art subject must have the approval of the HOD Art.
