Accounting Principles – conceptual basis for reporting basic accounting principles for personal accounting and business accounting (sole owner). Basic accounting practice - bookkeeping procedures. Basic skills - listening, reading and application. Introduction of Marketing Mix concepts.
Topics available include: Income, Personal Cash Records, Budgeting, Accounting Equation, Preparing Financial Statements, Decision Making, and Enterprise. There will also be an opportunity to gain 3 Level One NCEA credits for researching financial options and applying the decision making process.
