This 20 week option class carries on from Year 9 for students in the Summit Leadership Programme. This is a course that will continue to explore Leadership theories and practice, develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, and work to put student-led projects into action. The Year 10 Leadership course will continue to extend leadership opportunities and development allowing students to build on and hone their skills taken from the Year 9 programme.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES:
Time will also be set aside in this course to focus on the Hillary Challenge / Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Students may be invited to attend weekend camps and or training sessions with guests.

Recommended Prior Learning
Priority for enrolment in this course will be for students in the current Summit Leadership Programme. Additional places will be opened up to students in the remaining year 10 classes in the school.
