Course Description

Level 1 Physical Education involves both theory and practical lessons. The course focuses on how the body works, exploring the anatomy and biomechanical functions during a physical performance. Students will learn to develop and demonstrate interpersonal skills in an outdoor education setting during a trip away. The students will learn about personal and social responsibility, and how societal factors influence physical activity.

Recommended Prior Learning

Level 1 Physical Education is an open entry course. Students must apply through the HOD for admission. The student must have an interest in sport or a physical activity and have passed AS90962 1.1 at year 10.
