Entry requirement is that students have passed at least 1 Year 13 University Approved subject.


This course is for Year 13 students who have already passed at least 1 Year 13 University Approved subject. It will provide these students with further educational opportunities including:

  • University paper(s) through distance learning
  • Independent course of study of the student’s choice
  • NZQA Scholarship preparation Study will be primarily independent. Students will be supervised, mentored, and tutored by a teacher as a regularly scheduled class.


Standards available:

  • University paper through distance learning.
  • NZQA Scholarship exams. 
  • Independent course of study of the student’s choice.
