Level 2 Physical Education

Level Two Physical Education provides students with a deeper understanding of physical activity's role in enhancing personal well-being and performance. It delves into advanced concepts such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, and the social and psychological impacts of physical activity.
Students will engage in practical and theoretical components, including designing and implementing training programs, analyzing movement patterns, and evaluating the effects of physical activity on health. This course also emphasizes the development of leadership and communication skills through collaborative projects and sports leadership roles. Ultimately, it aims to foster a holistic appreciation of physical education and its application to lifelong fitness and health.
Recommended Prior Learning
14 credits or more in Physical Education Level 1 or Sports Development Level 1. Admission into the course is at the discretion of HOF.
