Level 1 Media Studies

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Carolyn Dower-Cruden

This course will look at different forms of the Media and how it has impacted our society over time. It is a mixture of theory and practical work where students will both study and then make a newspaper. They will also learn about the genre of teen films, close read a variety of media texts, look at current issues in the media and complete a study of how individuals interact with the media.
