Level 1 Building Pre-Academy (Building, Construction and Trade Skills Level 1)

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Nick Hackett

This course covers skills in communication, maths, quality standards, workshop procedures, job specifications, health and safety, materials knowledge, hand tools, power tools, and operating fixed machinery. This will lead students to Furniture Level 2 and the Building Academy. The course will consist of two projects making a set of Kauri steps and a Cape Cod Chair.
