Course Description

This course may be offered on Correspondence.
Language Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing
Topics: Background study of a Hispanic country, life and culture in NZ, youth issues, compare and contrast life in NZ and in an Hispanic country.
METHODS OF ASSESSMENT:
Three internal assessments - writing portfolio, conversation portfolio, spoken presentation. These are worked on throughout the year.
Two external assessments - reading exam, listening exam.
Recommended Prior Learning
NCEA Level 1 Spanish, 12 credits recommended.
