Course Description

Teacher in Charge: C. Bidois

Students will build language and cultural knowledge through communication and interaction in Spanish language. Activities will focus on the key aspects of language: listening, speaking, writing and reading. By the end of this course the students will be prepared to interact in basic Spanish language in a range of different situations. This option also prepares the student for NCEA Level 1 in Spanish language.
Language skills:Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
Topics: Where We Live, Freetime Activities, Weather, Clothing, School.

Students are offered the opportunity to sit a speaking assessment worth 4 NCEA Level 1 credits. 

METHODS OF ASSESSMENT:
End-of-Course Assessments in Speaking Listening,
Reading, Writing, Coursework, Cultural Project.
