Students will build language and cultural knowledge through communication and interaction in Japanese language. Activities will focus on the key aspects of language: listening, speaking, writing and reading. By the end of this course the students will be prepared to interact in basic Japanese language in a range of different situations. This option also prepares the student for NCEA Level 1 in Japanese language.
