Course Description

(This course may not be on offer. This will be dependent on student numbers)  

Students will build language and cultural knowledge through communication and interaction in Chinese language. Activities will focus on the key aspects of language: listening, speaking, writing and reading. By the end of this course the students will be prepared to interact in basic Chinese language in a range of different situations. This option also prepares the student for NCEA Level 1 in Chinese language.

Topics: Family, Sports & Leisure Activities, Food & Drinks, School Life, Daily Routine, Transportation

METHODS OF ASSESSMENT: End-of-Course Assessments in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Cultural Studies.
